Divine Creative Agency has turned 13!
Has it really been 13 years? It appears so! Not many small businesses make it past 3 years let alone 13, so we thought it was as good as any opportunity to celebrate!
We were privileged enough to spend a few hours on Wednesday 30 October with our business colleagues and clients at Cronulla Rydges, and take the opportunity to thank everyone that attended on the night. It was a really special milestone for our business, and we marked the night with some great prizes and I would have to say the best gift bags I've seen in quite some time! For all the photos, please visit our Facebook page and enjoy! Here is a sneak peek of just a few:
WINNERS ARE GRINNERS!
In the bottom left photo, congratulations to Deb Charlwood who won the beautiful handcrafted jewellery donated by Seriously Tw!sted, Dave Tremayne won the customised e-newsletter or blog (his choice once I explain what they are! lol) donated by Divine Creative Agency, and Cassandra Hunnam won the gift voucher donated by gorgeous new gift & homewares shop, Darling x Two!
Thank you to our very generous friends in business who donated to our lucky door prizes.
Want a new website, e-marketing campaign or sales brochures paid $1 for $1 by the State Government?
The Department of Industry and Investment have a fantastic initiative for SME's who have been in business for 2 years, can show solid business growth, employ 2 or more people and can demonstrate their long term prospects of profitability.
If this sounds like your business, in any one financial year you can be given financial assistance for up to $10,000 on a $ for $ basis of any costs that you can demonstrate will assist your business to move into new markets and continue growth.
This is exciting news from Divine Creative Design's point of view, because our clients and prospective clients can continue to work with us on their marketing programs and website development, and have it partially funded by the State Government.

• promotional material or display at a trade fair or expo
• sales brochures and marketing material
• e-marketing campaigns and implementation
• packaging for a new program, product or retail item

Divine Creative Design turns 10! And to celebrate we held a big celebration for 50 or so of our friends and clients on the front terrace of our Sylvania Waters premises. There were drinks, fine food, great company and a surprise belly dancer for entertainment. And who says that business isn't all about having fun with your friends!

Rendezvous in Business officially draws to a close. Originating in 2006, Divine Creative Design was part of the first expo held at Hazelhurst Gallery, and was so impressed that Melissa joined the official committee in charge of Marketing and Promotions. For the next four years we held:
- Numerous networking dinners/seminars/networking nights
- 2 Business Expos including guest speakers Andrew Ettingshausen and Tara Denis, Channel 7's Better Homes and Gardens
- Charity Christmas Party, guest speaker Jean Kittson
- ET'S Charity Beach Party 2009 - guest appearances by Glenn Ridge, Toni Pearen, Daryl Brohman and Craig Stevens
- The first Think Biz Expo and Business to Business Event, held in conjunction with BEC St George and Sutherland Shire and Doltone House. Guest Speakers: Peter FitzSimons, Justin Herald and Iggy Pintado.
It was a fantastic time of networking, business development and community service, and all in all we earned in excess of $60,000 for charity.
